Charleston man arrested in connection with string of break-ins
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Charleston man was arrested on Thursday following an investigation of a string of recent break-ins.
Sgt. Tony Hazelett of the Charleston Police Department said Nicholas Jackson, 46, was charged with breaking and entering after police went to his East End home to serve a search warrant. The arrest came out of an investigation of several neighborhood break-ins.
Hazelett said police found numerous stolen items in Jackson's home, which they believe were taken in recent thefts and break-ins.
Jackson was in the South Central Regional Jail on Friday, with bail set at $2,500.
