HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Community members, human service agencies and transportation operators are invited to an open-house style public meeting from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 18 at the KYOVA Interstate Planning Commission, 400 Third Ave. Huntington.
A discussion of public and human service agency transportation needs and gaps in service throughout the Transportation Management Area (TMA) will be held. The TMA area includes Cabell and Wayne counties; Lawrence County, Ohio; and Greenup and Boyd counties, Ky.
Transportation planners will be available to discuss existing transportation services and the unmet needs that exist in the community. Formal presentations will take place three times during the day: 10 a.m., 2 and 5:30 p.m. Consultants will also be available throughout the day to talk with transportation providers, funding organizations, passengers and community members.
