Stabbing leaves man in hospital
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- One man is at an area hospital and another in custody after a stabbing on the West Side of Charleston Saturday afternoon.
Roosevelt Walker, 72, is charged with malicious wounding in the stabbing of Dallas "Bo" McGhee, 31, after a morning of drinking and arguing, Lt. Steve Cooper of the Charleston Police Department, said.
The incident happened at 609 Ohio Ave., Cooper said.
McGhee was stabbed in the ribs and taken to CAMC General Hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, Cooper said. Both men were intoxicated when police arrived, he said.
