Met Opera will present an encore performance of "La Traviata," by Verdi from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cinemark at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville and at Regal in Nitro. The story is about a Parisian courtesan who finds love. Tickets at Cinemark are $11.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors and students, and $9.50 for children. Tickets at Regal are $12.50. Charleston Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a Nature Camp for kids, ages 6-11 from July 22-26 at Cato Park, 200 Baker Lane. Crafts, snacks, games, nature walks, swimming, local professional speakers and more will be featured. Bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, towel and a bag lunch, plus wear comfortable shoes. Camp fee is $35 for the five days, and space is limited. Preregistration is required, and the deadline is Wednesday<co July 17>.
