Scouts start loading up to go home at the National Boy Scout Jamboree on Tuesday. The 10-day celebration held at the new Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Fayette County ends Wednesday.
Hesper Bath, 23, of Salt Lake City, was one of few women and girls camped out at the National Boy Scout Jamboree this week, where about 40,000 Boy Scouts attended the event in Fayette County.

Robin Batten, 16, of Louisiana was allowed to attend the National Boy Scout Jamboree for the first time this year. She is a member of the Scouts' co-ed program called Venturing.
Maggie Durand, 18, of Massachusetts, stuck out in the sea of Boy Scouts at the National Jamboree held this week in Fayette County. Durand was one of about 1,000 female Venturers, a co-ed extension of the Boy Scouts of America, who attended the event. This was the first year Venturers were allowed to attend the national celebration.
