SBDC hosting workshop for state entrepreneurs
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Small Business Development Center is hosting a workshop that will focus on the needs of technology-based companies.
The Product Development/Technology Commercialization workshop is set for Aug. 22 at the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing in South Charleston.
It's part of a continuing program aimed at helping inventors and entrepreneurs as they create and market new or innovative products in West Virginia.
The workshop centers on important concepts such as intellectual property, alternative financing, prototyping and feasibility.
It costs $35, and the deadline to register is Aug. 20.
