SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles has opened a regional office in Summersville.
The $2.8 million facility is the 24th DMV regional office in the state.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and other officials participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the office on Monday.
Tomblin says in a news release that Nicholas County residents no longer have to go to Beckley or Flatwoods to obtain DMV services.
