Former Marshall County coach pleads guilty to drug count
WHEELING, W.Va. -- A former high school girls' basketball coach in Marshall County has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin.
WTRF reports that 26-year-old Amanda Allison of Cameron is free on bond pending her sentencing. She faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Allison is the former junior varsity girls' basketball coach at Cameron High School.
Her co-defendant, Tyler Jay Hoyle of Waynesburg, Pa., was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison on his conviction for conspiracy to distribute heroin from January to April of 2013.
