'Shrek the Musical'

Peppa Pig party
Charleston Town Center will host a 45-minute party for toddlers and pre-schoolers at 11 a.m. Saturday at the CAMC Play Patch in Zales Court. The free event includes supervised games and activities as well as an appearance by cartoon character Peppa Pig.

Documentary filmmaker Elaine McMillion will host a screening of "Hollow" followed by a discussion at three Kanawha County public library branches. The film examines the future of rural America through the eyes and voices of those living in McDowell County.
