CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston's holiday music season will get an early start this year with the return of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Nov. 20 at the Charleston Civic Center.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become a regular, if not precisely annual, visitor to Charleston. The larger-than-live music and theater spectacle has performed at the Civic Center numerous times. The last was in the spring of 2012 with a show themed "Beethoven's Last Night."
This time around, however, TSO will present their seasonal rock opera "The Lost Christmas Eve" which, as usual, will include a rock band and a full orchestra, as well as an elaborate pyrotechnics and laser light show.
Media reports have said TSO will retire this particular show at the conclusion of this tour.
Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.; prices are $32.50, $42.50, $52.50 and $62.50. Tickets will be available through all Ticketmaster outlets, the Civic Center box office or by calling 800-745-3000.
