Truck overturns, spills 4 tons of coal in Logan
LOGAN, W.Va. -- Logan police have cited a truck driver after his vehicle overturned and spilled 4 tons of coal.
Police told WCHS-TV the accident occurred around 4 a.m. Wednesday at the intersections of Route 73 and Route 44.
The driver was cited for failing to maintain control of the truck.
Police said a front loader is being used to remove the coal. But some of it will have to be picked up by hand. The road has been closed.
