Roberts previously served as the senior manager of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy for EnerNOC Inc., where she was responsible for state regulatory matters, commission proceedings, litigation, legislative issues for a nine-state region and regional transmission issues.
Also, she served as an assistant consumer counsel for the Ohio Consumer Counsel and executive director and president of the Public Utility Policy Institute in Concord, N.H.
"We are pleased to make this appointment," PSC Chairman Mike Albert said in a news release. "We have great confidence in Ms. Roberts' ability as a litigator and feel she will continue the effective leadership of the Consumer Advocate Division."
Roberts is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court and by the bar of the supreme courts of West Virginia, Ohio, New Hampshire, Vermont and Nevada.
