CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 500 customers in Tornado.
The affected area includes Coal River Road from Box 641/Browns Creek Road to the Lincoln County Line, Browns Creek Road from Adkins Fork Road to Coal River Road, Angel Fork Road, Woods Drive, Bryants Branch Road, Rock Camp Road, Gore Addition Road, Falls Creek Road, Glenwood Lane, Riverview Drive, Bel Aire Drive, Pinehurst Drive, Fawn Lane, Morning Glory Lane, Mountain View Drive, Vorpe Road and Yoder Lane. The advisory follows a water main break.
Also, Pineville Municipal Water Works has issued a boil-water advisory for customers living near the old Division of Highways to the top of Jesse Mountain. The advisory followed a water main break on W.Va. 10 North, at Rockview.
Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one minute before use, until further notice.
