Small-business workshop offered in Spencer
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Small Business Development Center is hosting a business fundamentals workshop Oct. 10 in Roane County.
The workshop is one of several events in the WVSBDC training and coaching program Three Step Jump Start, aimed at helping residents with small-business aspirations. The program is hosting monthly workshops throughout the state.
The business fundamentals workshop will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Roane County Economic Development Authority, 207 Court St., Spencer. There is a fee of $35 per person. Prior registration at least two days before the event is required.
The workshop is designed specifically for startups and new businesses. The workshop will focus on providing entrepreneurs with information to launch their business successfully and familiarize them with WVSBDC's structure and offerings.
After completing the workshop, participants interested may set up one-on-one coaching for business plan development, financial statement preparation, cash-flow analysis and other services with the WVSBDC.
