MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- DC Corp plans to open a data center at the Eastern Regional Airport that will employ more than 50 workers.
DC Corp founder and CEO Charles Asbury II tells The Journal that the Martinsburg-based company plans to invest $50 million in the facility. It will offer disaster recovery, continuity of operations planning, cloud services and primary hosting for commercial and federal clients.
Asbury says the center will be located in a former Ralph Lauren distribution center. He expects operations to begin by the second quarter of 2014.
Asbury and Eastern Regional Airport Authority chairman Rick Wachtel expect the center to draw more information technology operations to the area.
