Three arrested in slaying of Hampshire County man
SLANESVILLE, W.Va. -- A Hampshire County woman and two other people she was living with have been charged in the killing of her estranged husband.
The Hampshire County sheriff's department says in a statement that the body of Michael O'Hara was found Thursday in the Cacapon River. The statement says investigators say O'Hara had been stabbed at his home near Slanesville.
Deputies arrested O'Hara's estranged wife, 36-year-old Mandy Lee O'Hara, along with 21-year-old John Steven Shoemaker and 21-year-old Gabriella Elisa Clutter. The suspects lived in the same residence in Capon Bridge.
Potomac Highlands Regional Jail records show Mandy O'Hara and Shoemaker are charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and concealment of a body. Clutter is charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Jail records didn't indicate whether they have attorneys.
