WEBSTER SPRINGS, W.Va. -- A Webster County man convicted of killing three people will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Media outlets report Michael York received two life sentences for first-degree murder Tuesday, along with a 40-year sentence for second-degree murder. He also was sentenced to up to five years on three related charges.
The life sentences carry no possibility of parole. All the sentences are to run consecutively.
York and his wife, Amanda York, were charged in the fatal shootings of 49-year-old Lamar D. Allen, 49-year-old Denise L. Coates and 26-year-old Dustin Brown. The shootings occurred in June 2012 at the Yorks' residence in Hacker Valley.Amanda York was convicted on Tuesday of three counts of voluntary manslaughter. Her sentencing is set for Nov. 1.
