Hot dog/bake sale to benefit 4-H
A hot dog and bake sale to benefit 4-H will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tractor Supply Co. store in Belle.
Woman's Club sale slated
The Woman's Club of Charleston will hold its semi-annual sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 23 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 24 at the clubhouse at 1600 Virginia St. E. Items will include books, clothes, collectibles, flea market items, linens, jewelry and baked goods. Meals will be available both days, either eat-in or take out.
Beta Sigma Phi meets
Preceptor Alpha Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, will meet at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 21 for the board meeting and at 7 p.m. for the business meeting at Canaan United Methodist Church, 401 Roane St., Charleston. President Charlotte Bowling will conduct the business meeting. Suzanne Haynes will be hostess and present the program. Refreshments will be served after the business meeting.
