One killed in house explosion in Ritchie County
PENNSBORO, W.Va. -- One person is dead following a fire and explosion at a house in Ritchie County.
West Virginia State Police tell WDTV-TV that the fire and explosion occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Monday. A residence next door was damaged by flames but no one was there at the time.
The cause of the fire and explosion hasn't been determined but state police say oxygen tanks were inside the home.
The victim's name hasn't been released.
