By Staff reports

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- State Police in Logan County arrested a man and two women in connection with a robbery of the Chase Bank in Charleston on Monday.

Troopers caught the suspects driving along Airport Road near Chapmanville just before 4 p.m. They have not yet been identified.

Police believe the man walked into the Chase Bank at 1625 Washington St. E. shortly before 2 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a brown paper bag. No one was injured, but Cooper would not say if the suspect brandished a weapon.

Troopers found cash, a notepad and a BB gun inside the car they stopped, State Police Sgt. Michael Baylous said.
