Rainbow fish rodeo

Chris Veltri of Indian Lake fisheries tosses a net full of rainbow trout into the swimming pool at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center Thursday morning in preparation for this weekends fish rodeo. 300 lbs of trout and some fish are tagged for prizes. The event continues Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Chris Veltri of Indian Lake Fisheries in Elkview sends a few rainbow trout to join their brethren in the swimming pool at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Charleston. Workers stocked the pool on Thursday for a fishing rodeo, which begins today from 2 to 6 p.m. The event continues Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
