HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Journalism and mass communications graduates of Mountwest Community and Technical College can now transfer their credits to pursue a four-year bachelor's degree at Marshall University.
The Huntington schools announced the agreement Wednesday.
The agreement includes students in the fields of advertising, public relations, online journalism and radio and television production and management.
Mountwest formerly was connected to Marshall University. A 2008 law required the state's community colleges to become free-standing institutions.
