The Torchbearer Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Panera Bread, Southridge. A business meeting will be conducted by the president, Sandra Jo Medley. Several members will also attend the City Council's Pledge Ritual Banquet to take place at the East End Woman's Club at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
The Handlan Chapter of the Brooks Bird Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the South Charleston Library. Doug Jolley will discuss great gray owls, bluebirds, tree swallows and landscaping with viburnums to attract wildlife.
Delta Kappa Gamma
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society will hold a joint meeting of the Charleston chapters (Beta, Omicron, Chi, Alpha Iota) at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Temple with Beta chapter hosting. The speaker will be Lynn Baker, math science partnership coordinator. The topic is "Mathematics As We Transition Into the Next Generation."
Charleston Coin Club

Charleston Area Alliance's next Business After Hours will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Quarrier Diner, 1022 Quarrier St. Pre-registration costs $15 for Alliance members and $25 for nonmembers. Online pre-registration ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Prices at the door are $25 for Alliance members and $35 for nonmembers. The next South Charleston Chamber Business After Hours will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at City National Bank, 4110 MacCorkle Ave. SW, South Charleston.
