WVU aims high for book drive collection

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- A West Virginia University holiday book drive is aiming to help 3,000 children across the state.

The book drive benefits low-income elementary school children.

It is a collaboration of the WVU College of Education and Human Services' alumni group and the WVU Extension Service's literary program, Energy Express.

Last year's drive collected 1,300 books.

Books are being collected from Dec. 2 through Dec. 20 at several locations in Morgantown, as well as at WVU's Parkersburg campus and at Marshall University's School of Education and Professional Development in South Charleston.
