The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles' Martinsburg and Kanawha City regional offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, Thursday and Friday. Offices with normal Saturday hours will be open for regular business hours on Saturday. All DMV offices will resume normal business hours on Monday.
DMV Commissioner Steve Dale reminds customers that some DMV services are currently available online, at any time. Motorists that need to replace worn or faded standard license plates may use the new self-service application at https://apps.wv.gov/dmv/selfservice. DMV Self Service also allows customers to obtain replacement vehicle registration cards and decals, to check points accumulated on a driver's license, and to verify a current driver's license status from a computer.
