The Kanawha Valley Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at noon Dec. 7 for their Christmas Luncheon at Berry Hills Country Club. The deadline for reservation is Thursday. Lois Coffey will present musical entertainment with hand bells. Hostesses are Lois Taylor and Janet Leslie. In lieu of a gift exchange, attendees are asked to bring a donation for the purchase of gift cards for the children residing at Tamassee DAR School.
Holiday open house
Glenwood Foundation will host a holiday open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Glenwood Estate located at the corner of Orchard Street and Park Avenue, across from Stonewall Jackson Middle School.
