Detroit man charged in heroin bust
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Detroit man is in jail after being arrested over the weekend following a heroin bust.
Cpl. Brian Humphreys of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said deputies got a tip on Dec. 6 that Denzell Lamar Bunkley, 21, of Detroit was in the area allegedly distributing heroin.
Humphreys said deputies got a search warrant for Bunkley's hotel room, where they allegedly found heroin and several thousand dollars in cash. Bunkley was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver and obstruction.
Bunkley was in the South Central Regional Jail this morning, with bail set at $25,000.
