Randolph County considers ban on synthetic drugs
ELKINS, W.Va. -- Bath salts and other synthetic drugs would be banned in Randolph County under a proposed ordinance.
The proposal is scheduled for a second reading by the County Commission on Dec. 19. A public comment period will be held 30 minutes before the meeting.
The Inter-Mountain reports that commissioners unanimously approved the ordinance's first reading on Thursday.
Randolph County Sheriff Mark Brady told the commission that bath salts have no medicinal value.
