Man taken to Thomas Memorial after wreck in Nitro
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A man was transported to Thomas Memorial Hospital after a wreck in Nitro Tuesday evening.
Emergency responders had to cut the man from his vehicle after the incident, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Main Avenue, according to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers.
The road was closed for a little more than an hour, but reopened around 7 p.m., dispatchers said. Wet roads might have played a factor in the single-vehicle accident, the dispatcher said.
