Police ID victim in Rand shooting
RAND, W.Va. -- Kanawha County sheriff's deputies have identified a man who was injured after a shooting in Rand on Tuesday night.
Nicholas Coping, 29, is in stable condition at CAMC General Hospital on Wednesday, Cpl. Brian Humphreys said in a news release.
No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, which occurred at about 8:30 p.m. in the 5100 block of Raven Drive. Three or four men allegedly attacked Coping before the shooting. The men possibly fled in a white SUV.
