Alpha Theta Chapter/Alpha Delta Kappa
Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Dunbar. The group will prepare food baskets.

The Kanawha Valley Historical and Preservation Society rescheduled its high tea and annual meeting because of inclement weather. The high tea and meeting will now be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Craik-Patton House. Larry L. Rowe will present a brief talk on the Rev. Craik and Colonel Patton. The Payne family will discuss their new salt-making business in Old Malden. Donations will be accepted for the tea and house tours. Call 394-925-1333 by Saturday and reservations on voice mail.
Cookie mixes made by Charleston Montessori School students will be available at the East End Main Street Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Clay Center. The cookie mixes are chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin and are packaged in mason jars with ribbon. Advance orders may be placed by calling the school at 304-340-9000.
Al-Anon: holds open support get-togethers for those who have a family member or loved one with an addiction. Alateen meetings are for teens who deal with the alcoholism and/or drug addiction of a family member or friend. Al-Anon meets at 8 p.m. Tuesdays at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1105 Quarrier St.; noon on Wednesdays at the Kanawha County Day Report Center, 900 Christopher St.; and 7 p.m. Thursdays at Edgewood Area, St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 819 Somerset Drive. Alateen meets at 7 p.m. Thursdays in the Edgewood area at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 819 Somerset Dr. and noon Fridays at Christ Church, second floor, Room 200, Quarrier and Morris streets. The Legacy Study Group meets at 7 p.m. Sundays at First Presbyterian Church, 508 Second Ave. in South Charleston.
