Charleston man pleads guilty to drug charge in federal court
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Charleston man who pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court to distributing heroin faces up to 20 years in prison.
Brandon Christopher "Fresh" Solomon, 19, will be sentenced March 19 by U.S. District Judge John Copenhaver.
Solomon admitted that he sold heroin to a police informant, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Solomon is being prosecuted as part of the Charleston area's Drug Market Intervention initiative. He is designated as one of the initiative's most serious offenders, the release states.
