Four arrested in Logan home invasion
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Four people were arrested Saturday after the breakin of a a Logan County home.
West Virginia State Troopers made the arrests following a report of a home invasion in Kistler. Two purses, $10,000 in cash and a gun were stolen from the residence, according to Trooper Josh Honaker.
Michael Adkins, 31, and Shawn Carter, 23, of Huntington, were arrested for robbery, grand larceny, burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Clarissa Adkins, 26, of Huntington, and Tometta Serfass, 47, of Illinois, were charged with accessory after the fact and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Troopers pulled over a vehicle with Illinois tags registered to Serfass in Logan. There they found the stolen items, along with several bags of pills, Honaker said.
The home invasion was one of two troopers responded to Saturday.
