Three wrecks close I-64 lanes near Huntington
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Two lanes of traffic are back open after a series of traffic accidents closed Interstate 64 near the 29th street exit in Huntington Saturday evening.
One eastbound lane and one westbound lane had reopened as of around 8 p.m., according to a dispatcher with Cabell County 911.
The three accidents were reported around the 15-mile marker at 6:38, 7:11 and 7:25 p.m.
At least two people were transported to the hospital following the wrecks.
Barboursville police are investigating.
