MULLENS, W.Va. -- A Wayne's Supermarket Inc. store in Mullens has been cited for safety hazards by federal regulators.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed $32,000 in fines against the company.
The U.S. Department of Labor said Monday in a news release that OSHA found 10 serious violations during an investigation in September. The violations included electrical hazards and the lack of portable fire extinguishers in all work areas.
OSHA also found five other-than-serious violations. They included failing to maintain injury and illness logs.
The company plans to request a conference with OSHA.
