West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for about 1,000 customers in the Campbell Creek area, including some in the communities of Campbells Creek, Blount, Coal Fork and Tad. The advisory was issued Wednesday morning after a power outage caused a water storage tank to drain.
The boil-water advisory issued by the city of Ronceverte for the Squirrel Hill Trailer Park has been lifted.
West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 150 customers in Ona. The affected area includes Cyrus Creek Road -- from the left fork of Cyrus Creek to U.S. 60, Burke Hollow Road, Berry Lane and Sierra Drive. The advisory follows a water main break.
Beckley Water Company has issued a boil-water advisory effective immediately in the Raleigh area from the intersection of Burmeister Avenue and Millrich Avenue to the end of High Hill Loop (Ohio Hill Loop), including all side streets. The advisory includes Raleigh Ridge Road to 972 Raleigh Ridge Road. The notice is being issued following a water main break.
Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
