Car stuck on railroad tracks in Hansford

HANSFORD, W.Va. -- Emergency crews freed a car that had been studk on the railroad tracks in Hansford this morning.

A Kanawha County Metro 911 emergency dispatcher said a car apparently slid off of Hospital Hill a little after 8 a.m. and ended up stuck on the railroad tracks. CSX halted train traffic in the area until the car could be moved.

The dispatcher said the tracks were cleared a little after 8:45 a.m. The driver of the car was not hurt.
