Boil-water advisories issued, lifted

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Beckley Water Co. has issued a boil-water advisory effective immediately for Ewart Avenue, Beech Avenue Lundy Lane, Millron Avenue and all side streets. This notice was issued following a water main break.

Raleigh County Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for its entire water system.

The Big Bend Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for W.Va. 17, Willowood Road, following a water main break.

Eastern Wyoming Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for 1905 Moran Ave. to Townridge Acres in Mullens, following a water main break.

The Department of Health and Human Resources has lifted a boil-water advisory issued for Birch River Public Service District in Nicholas County.

These advisories are not related to the emergency arising from the Elk River chemical leak.
