West Virginia hunting show will go on as planned despite water crisis

By Staff reports

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The effects of the chemical leak have not forced postponement of the state's largest gathering of hunting and fishing enthusiasts.

Organizers for the annual West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show, scheduled to open Friday at noon, say the three-day event will go on as planned."We've been getting a lot of calls, and we want everyone to know that we're going ahead with the show," said Glen Jarrell, a spokesman for the West Virginia Trophy Hunters Association.
