MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Morgantown residents will have to wait until next month to have their say on the city's rebranding effort.
The city has announced that public roundtables originally set for today have been postponed until Feb. 12 because of poor travel conditions caused by inclement weather.
A city planning and marketing firm has been hired to help freshen Morgantown's image and message. The firm, Arnett Muldrow & Associates, already has begun gathering information about the city's assets, destinations, businesses and people. The plan is to come up with a new logo, a new motto, coordinated signs, print designs for brochures and guides, and a revamped web page.
