Kanawha water bottle recycling sites set up

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority has collaborated with the Kanawha County Commission to set up recycling drop-off sites to dispose of plastic water bottles.

Recycling locations available Jan. 25 and 26 include:

  • Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, 5320 Frontier Drive
  • Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department, 383 Call Road
  • Elkview Kmart, 201 Crossings Mall Road
  • Recycling locations beginning Jan. 27 include:

  • Clendenin Town Hall, 103 First St.
  • Sissonville Foodland, 6406 Sissonville Drive
  • Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, 5320 Frontier Drive
  • Marmet Recreation Center, 8505 MacCorkle Ave.
  • Plastic water bottles also can be taken to WV Recycling Services, 600 Slack St., or WV Cashin Recyclables, 1 Pickens Road, Nitro.
