Water advisories: Jan. 28, 2014

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Beckley Water Co. has lifted a boil-water advisory issued on Jan. 25 for North Hill Street, Fink Street, Loflin Street, Wiley Street and North Wilson Avenue in Mabscott.

* The boil-water advisory issued for the city of Ronceverte has been lifted.

* West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 200 customers on Pea Ridge Road and surrounding streets in Oak Hill, including Shirley Donnall Road, Patrick Street, Cherry Lane, Palmer Lane, Elder Berry Lane, Tincher Street and Ham Toney Road. The advisory follows a water main break.

* Pineville Municipal Water Works has issued a boil-water advisory for customers from J.C. Hardware on W.Va. 10 to the top of Jackson Hill, including Johnson Hollow Road to Cooks-Cooper Road in Wyoming County. The advisory follows a water main break.

Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
