CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 150 customers in the Loudon Heights area of Charleston, along Kanawha Forest Road, Cane Fork Road to Kanawha State Forest and Ferrell Hollow Road. The advisory follows a water main break.
The Department of Health and Human Resources has also issued a boil-water advisory for Cow Town area of the Meadow Bridge water system.
Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
The McDowell County Public Service District has lifted the boil-water advisory issued for the Coalwood area.
Pineville Municipal Water Works has lifted the boil-water advisory in East Pineville from the top of Jackson Hill to the Lucille Cook Booster Station.
The Bluewell Public Service District has lifted the boil-water advisory for Old Bramwell Road and the Midway area.
