CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Students and faculty from medical schools at Marshall and West Virginia universities gathered in Charleston for an education conference.
The inaugural Gold Humanism Educational Summit was Friday at the Culture Center.
The event included panel discussions among students and practicing physicians involving a variety of medical topics.
The Gold Humanism Honor Society salutes senior medical students, residents and faculty for excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service. Established in 2002, the GHHS is an international association of individuals and medical school chapters.
