CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 1,000 customers in the Sissonville area following a water main break, which caused a water storage tank to drain.
The specific streets included in the advisory are: 7600 block of Sissonville Drive (W.Va. 21) to Allens Fork Road, Grapevine Road, North Grapevine Road, Sisson Lane, Sisson Terrace, Shirkey Lane, Tolley Hollow Road, Second Creek Road, Haines Branch Road, Allens Fork Road, Poca River Road from W.Va. 21 to Cicerone Star Route, Aarons Fork Road from Cicerone Star Route to Flowers Hollow and Whiteman's Fork.
Customers in this area should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.

West Virginia American Water has lifted the boil-water advisory for customers on Mill Creek Road from W.Va. 114 to Windsor Drive. The advisory followed a series of main breaks, which caused a water storage tank to drain.
