MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- It's re-accreditation time for West Virginia University.
For the first time in a decade, the Higher Learning Commission will consider the university's accreditation.
WVU administrators have been working for the past couple of years in preparation, the Dominion Post reported. Part of the preparation includes the development of a so-called self-study, which will be submitted this week.
WVU has been gathering information and analyzing it to determine what to include in the self-study, accreditation and planning officer Elizabeth Hamilton said.
The self-study totals hundreds of pages, with the bulk of it compiled last year.
