CHARLESTON, W.Va. --West Virginia American Water and Beckley Water Company have lifted recent boil-water advisories in the area. They include:
West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for the Upper Edgewood area of Charleston. The advisory was issued Feb. 1 for about 200 customers on Gilbert Road, Viewmont Drive, Summit Lane, White Oak Drive, Woods Road, Stonewall Drive, Edgewood Drive from Cato Golf Course to Woodsview Heights Road, Woodsview Heights Road and Baker Lane (excluding Edgewood Summit).
West Virginia American Water has also lifted the boil-water advisory for the Cabin Creek area including the communities of Dry Branch, Miami, Dawes, Sharon, Rhonda and Ohley. The area included Sharon Dawes Elementary and approximately 1,000 customers along the following streets: Cabin Creek Road from Cheylan to Leewood-Decota Road, Dry Branch Road, Sharon Hollow Road, Sharon Hill Road and Giles Hollow Road.
Beckley Water Company has lifted a boil-water advisory for Orchard Woods subdivision and Venture Lane from the top of the hill to the end of the line in Crab Orchard.
