34th Annual Hamfest
The Plateau Amateur Radio Association is sponsoring the 34th Annual Hamfest from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lewis Community Center, 469 Central Ave., Oak Hill. The John Young Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bridge Road Bistro in the Ellis Room. Lunch will be ordered from the menu. Trail club hike
Kanawha Trail Club will sponsor a hike at Sunday in Barboursville City Park. Meet at 1:30 p.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. The hike is approximately 4 miles on various terrain with some long hills.
