Unity of Kanawha Valley: will be home for the monthly Laughter Yoga class with Janet Prince at 10 a.m. Saturday its location, 804 Myrtle Road, corner of Bridge and Myrtle roads. The class includes stretching, rhythmic clapping and, of course, plenty of laughter. The class is on a love-offering basis only. There is no cover charge. Laughter Yoga is held on the second Saturday of each month.
Climate change presentation
The Kanawha Garden Club and The Clay Center will co-sponsor a presentation titled: "Climate Change: The Evidence, People and Our Options" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 10 at The Clay Center. Speakers will be native West Virginians who are renowned Distinguished University Professors from The Ohio State University, Ellen Mosley-Thompson and Lonnie G. Thompson. The lecture is free, but reserved seating and tickets are required. Free tickets may be reserved or picked up in advance or at the door on the evening of the lecture.
