City man indicted on drug charges
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Charleston man who allegedly distributed heroin in the city in December was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury.
Darrell Shawton Collins, 36, allegedly distributed the drug on Dec. 4,5 and 6, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin's office. Collins faces up to 20 years in federal prison on each of the three counts if convicted.
The Charleston Police Department handled the investigation.
